The METARs (METeorologial Aerodrome Reports) are a network of weather stations located mainly in airports and used for flight planning and weather forecasting.
This map is generated using the METAR data provided by the Aviation Weather Center (AWS). It shows the latest weather measurements at each station.
We update all station data is every 15 minutes, and store a maximum of 2 days past data. All times are in local time of the station, unless stated otherwise.
The maximum visibility is defined as 10 miles fro US and Canada and 10 km for the rest of the world.
