They are an important tool for website developers, since it allows them to understand the preferences of their audience and to offer them a more customized experience.
Cookies can cause privacy concerns for some users. Therefore, at turbli you can disable all non-necessary cookies and we will maintain this setting for further accesses. After 1 year, you will be prompted for consent again.

Understanding the types of cookies we store helps users to make an informed decision on whether they want to maintain them or not. Below are the types of cookies currently used in turbli:
Necessary cookies: These cookies are needed for the proper and secure functioning of the site, such as remembering your privacy settings or storing security tokens. They do not contain any personal information and are not shared with any third-parties. You can block these cookies through your browser settings. But if you do, we do not guarantee the proper functioning of our website. Your cookies for privacy settings expire after 1 year, security cookies expire when you close the browser.
Performance cookies: We use Google Analytics to collect data on how the user's interact with our website. We have enabled IP Anonymization, meaning that only a section of of each IP is stored in Google's servers and thus cannot be used to identify a specific user. The collected data gives us useful statistics on which pages are visited more often, what time of the day is the most busy, which countries produce the most traffic, etc. This information is used to adapt and improve the website to the observed users activity. We have set these cookies to not expire.
Targeting cookies: We use Google Analytics Advertising Features of Demographics, Interests and Remarketing. This requires the use of third-party cookies from DoubleClick or country-specific Google domains. We use this data to (i) get a better understanding of the age group, gender and affinities of the people using our website and to (ii) send personalized advertising to people with similar profiles. You can block third-party cookies in turbli's cookie management or by accessing your browser settings. We have set these cookies to not expire.
The GDPR law states that website owners must be able to demonstrate that the user has given consent to process their personal data. To comply with this requirement, we keep records of every consent action taken by users; whether is to accept all cookies, only some or reject all.
The record consists of a unique random key and a list of the consented cookies. This data is stored in the user's computer and in our servers, so that we can compare them when needed to prove the consent. We also store other anonymous supporting data such as the time when the consent was given, the browser used and the masked IP of the user (that is, only a section of the entire IP).
The cookie records will not be deleted as long as turbli continues to operate. They will only be shared with third parties when legally required by audits or lawsuits.
Our users have the option to send us feedback comments to let us know their opinions on the website. This helps us improve the website by adapting it to our customer's needs. We strongly suggest not to enter any personal data such as names or telephone numbers in these comments. If you wish to enter personal data, you will need to consent that we store your comment in our database. These comments will not be shared with third-parties.
All the flights searched in turbli are stored in our servers to identify which routes are more popular among our users. Only flight data is stored, with no personal information such as IP addresses, names, devices used, etc. This data will not be shared with third parties.
